Thoughts on intertwining

June 20, 2010

Having the pleasure of attending a milestone birthday celebration for a friend yesterday has me reflecting on the intersection of life milestones and how people’s lives intertwine.  The stories that were told, the serious and the ones that in memories bring gales of laughter, cause me to appreciate each step through life that is shared with someone else.  Each of us, as individuals, can give.  The challenge is to make it happen more often.

Happy Father’s Day to all of you dad’s/granddads out there.  Take time to savor what milestones you may hit today.

Happy Fathers Day to you and fond memories of our lives intertwining with Dad’s life who gave and gave. We appreciate the steps that we took with him and what he has taught us to carry on.
